Retail Park
The redevelopment of the Kingsway West Retail Park, was completed in various phases over the course of 10 years for Land Securities. The proposals originated on the sites of a previous railway maintenance yard, Dundee Ice Rink, along with various other bulk retail units.
The development comprises of approximately 30,000 sq m of retail floor space over a 130,500 sq m site, which, at the time of inception, made it the largest out-of-town retail park in Scotland. The scheme includes 28 new and redeveloped units, varying in size and intended use.
Key infrastructure works were also carried out, including a full traffic management scheme, with focal landscaping, art, light and water installations.
