Following a recent re-structure and embracing the current digital market, TSPC have re-branded and fully refurbished number 11 Whitehall Crescent making it their new consolidated HQ in the centre of Dundee.
This is the latest project following a long relationship between RDA and TSPC. RDA first worked with TSPC in 1990 when we designed their first Property Centre at number 9 Whitehall Crescent. After many years of success, TSPC then went on to purchased the neighbouring building at number 11 and expanded into it in 2002 with a complete refurbishment.
Both 9 and 11 Whitehall Crescent are Category B Listed Buildings (1965). The building fabric across the two properties consists of a modern shopfront to the ground floor. Which incorporates the original cast-iron columns and meeting house fascia board. The storeys above consist of ashlar sandstone, with a cill course and lintel band to the first and second storeys. The 2 properties are separated by a banded pilaster with paired consoles.
This latest chapter for TSPC embraced some challenging internal structural works and uncovered some unexpected historical construction elements embedded in the basement.
